Halal conditions
The person who runs the Kirtun business and produces the works on the page tries to follow halal rules.
The business does not accept commissions that may conflict with halal rules.
✅ Halal:
- Nature paintings (trees, sea, mountains, sun, etc.)
- Abstract art
- Places, architecture, interior designs
- Plants, fruits, writings
- Calligraphy, especially Quran verses and Islamic quotations
❌ Cases that are doubtful or may be haram:
- Realistic depictions of the heads and bodies of people or animals, especially detailed paintings with eyes or a lifelike face (this may vary by school of fiqh; some scholars prohibit, others permit - it is safer to be cautious).
- Depiction of a woman
- Depiction of things forbidden by Islam (alcohol, gambling, musical instruments, content glorifying a haram lifestyle)
- Symbols, attributes and customs belonging to other religions.
- Using someone else's painting or design without permission. This counts as a violation of a person's rights (qul haqqı). Therefore it must absolutely be either your own work, or permission for its use must be obtained.

Kirtun (Rəsm Sifarişləri)
Kirtun is a craft activity that seeks to practise painting through works of art within a framework of values. For us, not only the visual quality of the works matters; that they are produced within a halal framework and with moral responsibility is at least as important as the art itself.
Kirtun accepts commissions for professional painting on canvas, paper, wood, bags, hats, walls, tree-stump slices and other surfaces. In addition, in calligraphy - though not fully professionally - it also makes decorative panels based on Islamic culture.
With its mission, Kirtun does not merely offer art products - it also shows an exemplary path for artisans who follow halal rules. This activity promotes an understanding of painting that stays faithful to Islamic principles, and inspires and guides those in the sector who wish to work in this direction.
