Purpose and History

Founded in 2023, Halal Ekosistem began full operations in 2024. Questions raised by people who run their businesses in line with halal principles, and that we could not answer, pushed us to look for new solutions. The best answer to those questions was to build a platform like this.

Halal rules must be observed at every stage of a business's activity. In today's world, where all sectors are interconnected, it is not possible to fully support businesses that follow halal principles by providing only certain services. That is why Halal Ekosistem, taking every major economic process into account (every link of the chain), aims to provide entrepreneurs with all the services they need, from consultation to raising finance.

Preparing for Financial Markets

In developed countries, stock exchanges are a key indicator of the economy, of transparency and of access to global markets. They create capital-raising opportunities for companies and investment opportunities for investors. Under halal finance principles, it is permissible to invest only in the shares of companies that operate in line with Sharia. For this reason, halal investment standards have been developed in financial markets.

There are institutions that verify and supervise companies operating according to these standards. At Halal Ekosistem, taking into account the future development of exchanges in our country, we want to integrate the halal business concept into this field from now on.

The Core Rules of Halal Ekosistem

At Halal Ekosistem, only businesses whose main activity complies with halal principles are accepted onto our platform. The following areas, and all activities related to them, are not admitted to the platform under any circumstances:

Activities prohibited by Islam

Sectors such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling and games of chance, and pork.

Protecting national and spiritual values

All activities that contradict morality and national and spiritual values, or harm the moral development of society.

Protecting justice

All financial-service activities based on interest (usury), including banks, non-bank credit organizations and insurance

Security and peace

All activities that threaten the security of the state and society.

Environmental harm

Activities that exploit resources by harming the environment and people.

Wastefulness

Activities that bring no benefit to people and only cause a waste of resources.

Protecting quality

Activities of poor quality that harm human health.

Injustice and violation of people's rights

Activities in which bribery, lying, deception, fraud, bias, unfair competition, and especially the exploitation (oppression) of human labor, above all of women and children, are seriously present.
